Opened ≠ acknowledged
Opening a notice does not record acknowledgement or grant consent.
OUR APPROACH / REAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Schools handle trust, context and decisions every day. Those responsibilities shape how EOS works.
01 / PERMISSIONS
School boundaries, staff permissions and current family relationships determine what a person can see or change. Parents see only their linked children’s published information.
One shared school record does not mean one unrestricted view. A scope change must clear the previous private context.
02 / PUBLICATION
Drafts stay private. Result entry, approval and publication are distinct actions. An authorized publisher approves the exact mark-sheet snapshot, and the requesting teacher confirms every release.
Changed marks invalidate approval. No schedule, complete roster or background task publishes results on its own.
Follow the publication guide03 / ASSISTANCE
Optional assistance supports reviewed drafts and source-based answers. It does not assign marks, choose recipients, grant consent or publish on your behalf. Office record assistance is read-only.
On-device and online modes are distinct choices. There is no automatic online fallback for local note drafting. Editable templates remain available on unsupported devices.
04 / CONTEXT
Explicit states keep people from having to guess what an action means.
Opening a notice does not record acknowledgement or grant consent.
A club enrollment request is not membership. Consent requires a separate choice.
A parent’s absence explanation does not change the official register.
An offline draft or unknown delivery response is not a successful server command.
05 / THE PRACTICAL QUESTIONS
Curriculum, languages, connectivity and communication need a school-specific plan.
Native apps retain authorized saved records and drafts with clear freshness and sync states. Result releases and material Office approvals require online checks. A missing record is not treated as an empty one.
Changes keep an attributable history. Published corrections remain linked to earlier versions. Uncertain delivery retains the original request identity rather than claiming success or creating a duplicate publication.
Mappings follow the school’s actual grades, subjects, adopted resources and editions. NCERT is an explicit school choice. English, Hindi, Marathi and Kannada share a localization foundation; interface translations, textbook content and generated-note languages need separate coverage checks.
School-local digests, quiet hours and explicit preferences distinguish routine from important changes. Publication, delivery and acknowledgement remain separate. Generic lock-screen alerts exclude sensitive names, marks and private notes.
Public app-store distribution, bulk/OCR mark entry, voice transcription, automated grading, unattended result publication, full textbook note generation and a distinct Exempt result state are outside the current delivery. Parent does not initiate payments.
Confirm records and relationships, roles, curriculum mappings, publication owners, devices and channels. Agree privacy requirements, migration and training, then pilot representative workflows before a wider launch.
